Job description

Phigenics is seeking a candidate with a flexible schedule interested in working 5-10 or more hours per week DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS in DC, Northern VA, and surrounding areas. We will train the right person to take on-site readings via a testing instrument (i.e. chlorine, temperature, and pH readings) and collect building water samples to be sent to a lab for cultures.

The position might become full-time in the future based on a potential increase in clients in the area. It offers a competitive hourly pay rate but no company benefits at part-time status. High School diploma or GED required. Some college courses in Chemistry or Biology are a plus.

The position requires self-motivation and capacity to work independently. Must have excellent communication abilities and basic computer skills. The position often requires a great deal of walking around client sites, may include climbing stairs or ladders, and may require lifting up to 25 pounds.

A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record for at least the last two years are required. Compensation is provided for travel time and mileage to client locations, which could be up to 150 miles from Dallas.
