Job Summary
Primary duties include assisting the Financial Empowerment Center (FEC) team with clerical functions. This includes providing excellent customer service, scheduling appointments, data entry and maintaining confidentiality. This position will also provide backup support to the Evelyn K. Davis Center front desk. Other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions
Greet and assist prospective and current students, staff, clients, visitors, and the general public.
Deliver excellent customer service to all clients and students.
Provide information regarding FEC, EKDC and DMACC programs, services, or courses and also community resources.
Assist clients and students in completing the center’s ETO onboarding database.
Receive and transfer calls received through the multi-line phone switchboard.
Monitor Lobby Central client check-in system.
Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
Provide information by answering questions and requests.
Communicate clearly and promptly with all clients and building staff.

Required Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent.
Effective customer service skills.
Knowledge about Microsoft products and the ability to learn new technology platforms.
Ability to plan, organize, manage time and meet deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from diverse backgrounds.
Flexibility to work occasional evening and/or Saturday depending on center program needs.
