Join our team! Galloway Ridge is an upscale continuing care retirement community located between Chapel Hill and Pittsboro in Chatham County, NC. We are currently seeking a Part-time Receptionist to work every THIRD weekend from 8:00am-4:30pm Saturday and Sunday. The Arbor receptionist performs general reception and office work to assist the healthcare center staff with clerical activities, communications, and record maintenance.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Checks telephone messages, takes and distributes messages, replenishes copy and fax machine with paper and visitors’ labels. Organizes healthcare center’s reception area and work station.
• Greets visitors and residents and directs appropriately.
• Scans Transportation requests from the Nursing staff to Home Care.
• Submits boxed Breakfast/Lunch order to F&B if needed for outside appointments.
• Submits work order requests. Makes copies and sends fax messages for the residents and staff.
• Delivers, collects and sends mail. Delivers flowers and other items necessary.
• Maintains current roster of residents on unit.
• Keeps current listing of emergency and commonly used telephone numbers.
• Replaces contents of manuals with revisions as necessary.
• Assists in the preparation of memos, reports and other documentation.

• 
  Basic computer Skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure.
• Ability to answer phones and deal with the public in a professional manner.
• Provide professional oral and written communication.
