Parts Delivery Driver & Yard Specialist

Summary: The Parts Delivery Driver & Yard Specialist will deliver concrete supplies to our local customers in a safe, timely, efficient, and courteous manner. Frequently interacting with our customers, you will serve as a company ambassador and will provide exceptional customer service. This position is for our O’Fallon, MO location.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, load, and deliver concrete products for local customers.
- Operate truck and trailer with a DOT classification CDL as well as construction equipment.
- Adhere to all safety requirements particular to equipment including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
- Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
- Organize pickup orders and load customers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assist with receiving inventory and ensure proper placement at the branch.
- Promote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership, personal compliance, accountability, and communication.
- Clean and organize the concrete supplies area in the warehouse and yard.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A, B or C CDL with acceptable driving record with the ability to obtain a Class A CDL paid by the company.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated commercial driving experience.
- Superior customer service, strong work ethic and team first mentality.
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of concrete products, construction equipment, and safe driving procedures.
- Diligent attention to safety.
