Summary/Objective:

The Parts Sales Representative position will be responsible for facilitating customer needs, generating revenue, and accurately being able to locate and price crane parts as needed. Prepare quotes for customers, offer-up suggestions, and determine the availability for the parts requested. Communicate effectively and follow directions. Documentation and sales tracking spreadsheets will be utilized in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with required parts, offer specials and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of the crane types, models, and parts to better assist customers.
  • Determine availability of purchases in stock, pull stock, and submit an emergency order if parts requested by the customer are not available.
  • Participate in maintaining the Lost Sale Tracking program.
  • Document, notate, and track sales orders as well as inventory in stock.
  • Prepare quotes according to Bigge standards to ensure profitability is being met.
  • Verify “will call” and “back order” files weekly and return them to vendors.
  • Identify items to keep in stock.
  • Solicit assigned accounts by phone.
  • Utilize Microsoft D365 to determine fast-moving items and slow-moving inventory items.
  • Answer calls, reach out to customers on daily basis by phone, text, and email.
  • Setup orders for daily shipment, delivery, and pick up.

Qualifications:

  • Must have previous crane industry knowledge, including machines in our fleet such as, Tadano, Kobelco, Manitowoc, Terex, Broderson, Cherry Pickers, RT, AT, Crawler, and Tower Cranes.
  • Previous experience with crane/heavy equipment part sales.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have a high degree of organizational skills.
  • Prior sales knowledge and ability to prepare quotes.
  • Must know how to use online parts catalogs/manuals and navigate to find parts breakdowns.
  • Ability to problem solve and provide unique solutions for customers/projects.
  • Strong ability to develop and maintain long-term, high-level working relationships with key customer accounts.
  • Self-Starter “Go Getter”, with a can-do attitude.
  • Effective communication and strong computer skills are required for this role.

Pay: $33,483.30 - $110,469.26 per year
