TCI-St. Louis is looking for a full-time Parts Warehouse team member to support our Parts Core department. This is an exciting opportunity to build your career with our growing family-owned company. This role identifies and groups cores by core type and vendor. In addition, they package cores by vendor requirements, keep accurate counts of packaged cores to be shipped, document packaged cores, and submit them to the Parts Core Admin for processing of core returns to be shipped.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Processes incoming core transfers from TCI locations.
• Stays current on core criteria and vendor core processing policies.
• Identifies cores to be returned and separates cores by type and vendor to be returned.
• Packages cores for shipment adhering to vendor and carrier criteria.
• Documents cores being packaged with accurate counts and part numbers and submits to Parts Core Admin to be processed for return.
• Maintains a safe and clean environment adhering to OSHA and TCI standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience/knowledge in shipping and packaging requirements for carriers to include processes for hazmat shipping
• Experience with safety protocols for handling hazardous materials
• Knowledge of truck parts preferred
• Proficient in proper packaging techniques to ensure safety of core parts and personnel handling
• Demonstrated understanding of vendor core criteria and vendor core return processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proven time management skills with an ability to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
• Ability to lift/carry/push up to 80 pounds at times
