Summary:
Performs a variety of routine and basic patient- and clerical-related tasks to ensure customer focused services. Complies with all appropriate safety and infection control standards. Participates in quality assessment and continuous quality improvement activities. Performs all job duties and responsibilities in a courteous and customer-focused manner according to the Hurley Family Standards of Behavior.

Works under the direct supervision of a House Director, Manager/Nurse Manager, Registered Nurse, or designee who reviews work for effectiveness and conformance to established policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• High school graduate and/or GED equivalent.
• Ability to accurately report relevant observations and change in patient status.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic calculations.
• Ability to organize and maintain records, documents, and forms.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of job.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians, visitors, supervisors, co-workers, other Medical Center staff, and the general public.
• Must obtain BLS certification upon start of position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.90 - $16.08 per hour
