Position Summary:

We are seeking a strong candidate to assume relationship building, lab management, and directorships with associated clinical labs. This individual should expect clinical pathology responsibility balanced with AP sign-out. This individual may hold 3-5 CLIA licenses including large hospital laboratories. We will prioritize candidates with experience fostering collaborative relationships with clinicians, medical technologists, and PhD’s. 5+ years General Surgical, and/or clinical path experience preferred although current or recent fellows with experience as chief resident and requisite strengths encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

  • Must meet Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska state licensing requirements.
  • Pathologist with sub-specialty training from an accredited program.
  • Board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP) with experience in hospital based pathology.
  • Experienced CP Preferred
  • MD in good standing

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and documentation
  • Exceptional relational, interpersonal, and lab management capabilities
  • Strong customer focus and understanding of laboratory operations
  • Ability to communicate with high level decision makers in the organization
  • Personal adaptability and ability to lead change.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged sitting
  • Computer use
  • Must be able to perform significant periods of diagnostic work thru visual inspection using a microscope
  • Must be able to fully utilize a microscope using hands and eyes
  • Must be able to stand at table up to 2 hours

Benefits

Benefits:

  • Associate Base Compensation: $240,000.00 to $300,000.00 DOE. Future Partner eligible with earning potential up to $500,000.00

  • CME Expense Provision: $5,500 (reimbursed)
  • Sign-on and Relocation Bonus: Starting at $15,000 net
