JOB SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of your job description is to complete registration of patients for all medical services in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
Education - High School Diploma or GED
Experience/Qualifications: One year registration in a healthcare environment preferred but not required.
Technical Knowledge:
- Strong organizational skills required with ability to multi-task
- Proven verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of insurance benefit and plan verification
- Knowledge of third party payers
- Experienced in automated systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology
- Ability to type 40 WPM
