Your day.
As a Patient Account Rep Lead you need to know how to:
- Lead the work of the associates in the department. Assist Manager and Supervisor with day to day operations to ensure that duties are performed in a timely manner. Act as a resource and provide technical support. Instruct and assist department personnel in resolving revenue cycle issues and track flows to ensure timely processing.
- Assist and identify process improvements for revenue cycle. Apply learnings and experience to identify and initiate ‘best practice’ strategies and process improvements for the team. Coordinate orientation and training of new associates. Ensure staff competency through proper training techniques and conduct quality audits.
- Assist Manager and Supervisor with quality and productivity reviews. Participate in problem solving to address departmental issues.
- May participate in human resource functions. May participate in the interview process and provide feedback to leadership team on candidates. Provide education/training and performance feedback for associates in the department. Participate in policy and procedure development. Present and document staff meetings as required.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines and established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, and quality assurance programs.
- Promote mission, vision, and values of SCL Health, and abide by service behavior standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Your experience.

- High School Diploma or equivalent, required
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare business office setting, required
- At least three (3) years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, preferred
