Job description
- Deliver prompt, courteous customer service through multiple software applications (email, chat, phone) and technology platforms to provide front line billing support to clients.
- Follow all procedures for complete and accurate account billing of patients.
- Collect patient data involving medical, demographic, billing and insurance information and follow HIPAA guidelines.
- Communicate billing information and payment options to clients utilizing email, phone, and software systems.
- Process credit card payments, respond to common client billing concerns and provide billing statements to customers.
- Advocate for clients’ issues, inquiries, concerns, needs, and suggestions while maintaining ownership of the case and follow-through to completion.
- Other duties as assigned
- Will require thorough understanding of Salesforce and utilize billing applications such as Kareo, Podio, and Collectly.
- Contact patients (via phone and email) to resolve their outstanding balances
- Notify providers of various billing issues
