ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow schedules that are subject to last minute changes.
• Establish efficient routes for completing pick-up and drop-off of patients.
• Operates vehicles in a safe manner in compliance with DOT Regulations.
• Calmly and effectively manage unforeseen circumstances, such as medical emergencies.
• Conducts vehicle emergency repairs; able to change tires and handle minor on-road maintenance.
• Coordinates vehicle maintenance repairs.
• Establishes and monitors daily and weekly trip inspection & preventative maintenance programs and maintains records regarding the maintenance of all vehicles.
• Maintains cellular contact with office to respond to necessary route updates when appropriate.
• Assists in activities and special programs as needed.
• Greets and interacts with patients in a friendly and respectful manner.
• Upholds policies regarding passenger behavior
• Other duties as assigned
• Travel to other locations as requested

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.13 per hour
