JOB SUMMARY
The NOAH Patient Experience Coach is responsible to plan, lead, coach, and measure the execution of a Patient Experience Strategy and Tactics to influence change to shape of the culture of NOAH to achieve the vision of delivering the best patient experience to our community. Position builds support for improving the patient experience, educates practice managers and line employees in the principles and practices of patient experience improvement, influence departments and business units to operationalize patient experience vital behaviors, provide expertise and resources to improve performance, identifies and assists struggling departments, recognize and celebrate success, and promote positive change.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
These are essential job responsibilities and should be listed in descending order of importance i.e. most important is first.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Works collaboratively with the operations team to assess patient experience scores and develop action plans to improve the patient experience.
  • Train and orient existing and new NOAH employees on the organization's vision and values, customer service and patient experience best practice.
  • Manage and maintain physician/practice enrollment with patient experience vendor. Responsible for the training, development of reports and distribution of information.
  • Serve in a consulting role to physician practice sites to improve patient experience scores and foster the sharing of these concepts across the physician network.
  • Organize and chair the Patient Experience Committee and assist with the orientation and promotion of the medical group Champions.
  • Provide on-site auditing and follow-up training to ensure practices are implemented and maintain a culture of service excellence.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION
Required

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4 years' work related experience in Healthcare or related field


EXPERIENCE
Required

  • 2 years - of coaching, delivering presentations, and interacting with management groups.
  • Working knowledge of physician practices and ambulatory electronic medical records, advanced Microsoft Office systems, including databases, presentations, and document management.

Preferred

  • 5 years - of coaching, delivering presentations, and interacting with management groups within a physician practice environment.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE/ETC.
Preferred

  • Current, valid State of Arizona or Compact State Registered Nurse license OR Other related healthcare certification and/or license.
  • Certification in Crucial Conversations, Influencer-the Science of Change, Crucial Accountability or the DDI Coaching for Peak Performance.

  • It is expected that all certifications, licenses, etc. are renewed by the expiration date to remain compliant.
