Synergy ENT Specialists | St. Louis Sinus Center

We are a well established ENT/Sinus practice with two location and are seeking enthusiastic, customer service oriented individuals to join our growing team as a Patient Experience Coordinator at our Festus office.

Job Summary:

As Patient Experience Coordinator, you will work alongside our "front office" team to ensure patients have an exceptional experience starting with their first point of contact with our practice. You will serve as the front desk receptionist.

This is a full-time position, based at our Festus office (located within Mercy Hospital Jefferson). Hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-4:3pm. No nights or weekends!

Responsibilities:

• Answer and route inbound phone calls (if calls roll over)
• Take messages for teammates when unavailable
• Schedule appointments
• Greet patients and guests as they enter the office
• Check patients in, ensuring their demographic and insurance information is accurately and thoroughly documented into the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Collect co-pays and point of service payments
• Effectively communicate and coordinate with various departments to ensure patients receive an efficient, streamlined visit
• Schedule follow-up appointments
• Handle incoming referrals and faxes

• The desire and ability to learn new technology including but not limited to EMR and scheduling software
• Experience in a clinic environment is highly preferred.
