Job Summary
Neighborhood House (NH) is a partner with International Community Health Services (ICHS) to provide health clinic services at Seattle World School (SWS), a 6-12 grade school for newly arrived immigrant/refugee students in Seattle Public Schools. In addition to providing health services to students, this project also provides other family support services to student’s families. This may also include Sexual Health and Drug and Alcohol prevention education for students and parents.
Under the direction of the Patient Navigator Supervisor, the Patient Navigator works with a team to provide interpretation and support services to medical, dental and behavioral health staff and to provide case management, linkage to support services, and health care navigation, for students and their family members.
Neighborhood House is seeking an individual who is fluent in Spanish to work in person at the Seattle World School. Patient Navigators are expected to work during clinic/school hours, generally Monday-Friday, 8:15 a.m.-4:45 p.m. Providing in-person services with students and families at school, in the community or at their homes will be a key part of this work. As the health clinic is school based, staff will be expected to be a strong contributor to the school team and culture.

Pay: $24.24 - $26.94 per hour
