Essential Functions
Take all incoming appointment calls providing accurate answers with excellent customer service skills.
Ability to effectively respond to and prioritize calls from patients to ensure appropriate and timely scheduling.
Schedule appointments accurately for busy 20+ provider specialty practice.
Guide and transfer callers appropriately to various locations and departments efficiently.
Obtain and enter patient demographics accurately.
Obtain and verify insurance information.
Maintain the strictest confidentiality; adhering to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
Skills/Experience
Minimum of one year work experience in a customer service setting. Prior experience in a Medical, Dental or other Healthcare Practice is highly preferred.
Education
High School graduate required.
Location/Transportation
Position is located in Durham, NC at our Administration Building. Our main office is Chapel Hill, NC. We have additional satellite locations in Cary, Raleigh,
Salary: $15-$17/hour, negotiable depending on education and experience
