Salary Range:22.5400 To 23.7500 (USD) Hourly $2,500 Sign-on Bonus

Position Summary:
The Patient Services Representative (PSR) performs all the administrative service relating to the checking in and checking out of patients, and provides general support services for the unit as described herein. The PSR thus plays a key role in creating and maintain a welcoming environment for patients; for ensuring efficient and expedient patient flow; and for implementing providers’ follow-up instructions with the patients.

Essential Functions:
1. Greets and registers patients.

2. Answers incoming phone calls. Responsible for responding to patient telephone calls for changing appointments and rescheduling patient’s appointments when a provider is out.

3.Provide general information (e.g. client limits of insurance and payment responsibilities of client for services) and assistance to all visitors in waiting room.

Minimum Qualification:
Education: Must have a high school diploma or GED
Experience: Two years’ of work-related experience in a clinic setting
Preferred: Bilingual/bicultural in an Asian language: Cantonese Mandarin and Vietnamese strongly desired, commitment to working in the Asian community, to community health care with familiarity with community health clinics

Pay: $22.54 - $23.75 per hour
