Summary:

Accurately processes payroll and provides customer service to Team Members and Leaders regarding any Payroll-related inquiries. Serves as primary contact for garnishment support and tax jurisdiction compliance.

Essential Duties/Functions:

  • Supports timekeepers with timely and accurate data entry and pulls data for payroll processing.
  • Review and process wage garnishments and coordinate with support agencies regarding any issues.
  • Prepare and process full-cycle Bi-Weekly and Semi-Monthly payrolls.
  • Assist with Payroll Tax jurisdiction compliance regarding Local and State regulations.
  • Works closely with payment services vendor to ensure tax notices are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Review all payroll inquiries and assist impacted Team Members and Leaders as needed.
  • Supports Finance Team with Payroll-related General Ledger reporting and other ad-hoc requests.
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field is preferred.

Years of Experience:

3-5 years of Payroll Processing experience.

Demands:

  • Strong communications skills; both written and verbal.
  • High degree of agility regarding completing work and flexible in meeting payroll deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented and the ability to be discrete regarding handling confidential information.
  • Strong customer service mentality with a desire to help other Team Members.
  • Proficient with office productivity software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Comfortable working independently on tasks and collaboratively on team assignments.
