General purpose of the job
The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for the timely and accurate process of the multiple payrolls (semi-monthly and weekly) for the Argos US companies.
Individual accountabilities
- The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for payroll support of multiple-shift, multiple-location operation
- Maintain and update employee files such as new hire paperwork and other confidential records
- Responsible for end-to-end processing of weekly Great Plains payroll and perform associated reporting and filing
- Process employee status changes and update payroll information so that checks and direct deposits are distributed on time
- Review wages computed and correct errors to ensure accuracy of payroll
- Ensure integrity of the payroll data including data related to new hires, terminations, transfers and rate changes, and make timely updates as necessary
- Other duties as required by management team
