Our Payroll & Workforce Management Solutions team helps align the needs and priorities of the client organization with those of its workforce, while ensuring the long-term success of the organization.

Work you'll do
As a Payroll Process and Workforce Management Consultant, you should expect to be involved in the following:
  • Guiding clients to analyze the current state of the payroll processes, identifying pain points and offering possible solutions
  • Advising clients on technology options that can help them improve their overall Payroll function
  • Demonstrating your leadership experience, being self-accountable to the outputs of the team
  • Emerging business advisor, Project/Workstream Manager, Leader of others, sales support

Qualifications

Required:
  • 4+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant experience required
  • Strong background in the Payroll function & processes, demonstrating understanding all its complexities
  • Experience with requirements gathering, workshops and facilitating meetings
  • Experience in the vendor selection process (client and supplier sides)
  • involved in the full lifecycle of a project including, Business Analysis, Functional Specification, System Configuration, Design, Testing
  • Experience with payroll software such as ADP, UKG (formerly UltiPro), Workday, Oracle Cloud, or SAP/SuccessFactors and system infrastructure
  • Ability to interact at all levels of the client organization
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

This compensation range is specific to New York City, Jersey City, State of Colorado, and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $93,000 to $173,000.
