Supervisor Maintenance
Supervises the daily operation of the Engineering Department.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- Able to stand, climb, stoop, bend frequently
- Requires ability to tolerate exposure to conditions which may include toxic chemicals, bio-hazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, heights, high temperatures or confined spaces
- Able to use appropriate equipment and proper body mechanics to lift supplies and equipment and push carts and dollies weighing up to 500 lbs
- Needs adequate color vision.
- Must wear protective clothing as required.
- Able to travel to various locations
- Needs ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking in person or on telephone
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES
- Current Oregon driver’s license
- High school diploma and/or equivalent preferred
EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a hospital or related industry as a maintenance engineer with at least two (2) years in a supervisory capacity
- Experience with refrigeration, nurse call systems, fire alarm systems, elevators, pumps and motors, conveyors, compressors, HVAC, boilers, generators, chillers and HVAC and other various hospital equipment and electrical equipment
- Working knowledge of firefighting equipment, various power tools (drills, grinders, sanders, solder, etc.), basic carpentry tools, various hand tools associated with building and electrical maintenance, hand held radios, lockout tagout devices, welding equipment, electrical meters and other equipment associated with building maintenance
STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
- Oregon
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

- Coos Bay, OR: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- supervisory capacity: 2 years (Preferred)
- hospital or related industry as a maintenance engineer: 4 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Current Oregon driver’s license (Preferred)
- Working knowledge of firefighting equipment (Preferred)
- Oregon state LICENSE (Preferred)
