Personal Trainer/ Fitness Instructor - Part Time

Mountainside is looking to hire Personal Trainers/ Fitness Instructors located in Canaan, CT!!!
About the Position:
- Conduct various group fitness classes
- Monitor facility equipment for safety and report any concerns or needs to the Wellness Manager
- Maintain confidentiality of clients records at all times
- Assist with Climbing Wall as needed
- Document in Electronic Health Record as assigned
- Attend staff meetings as necessary
- Provide great customer service; see that all customers, clients and staff are given prompt and courteous service
- Maintain cleanliness of facility by cleaning equipment and fitness areas as needed
- Demonstrate an understanding of all equipment
- Notify clients and staff when machines are out of working order
- Deliver safe and effective fitness programs
- Enforcing all rules that pertain to the fitness and exercise areas on a constant basis
- Supervise all climbers for safe practices
- Comply with all federal, state and accreditation regulatory requirements
- Provide additional support as needed for the Wellness Department for ABC/outdoor activities
Schedule:
Shifts available 5 days a week 6am-9:30am (Weekdays)
Compensation:
- The base salary for the position is $22.00 to $25.00 per hour. Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.

Qualifications:
- Strong and personable communication skills
- Personal Training Certificate and/or Group Fitness Certification required
- Minimum of high school education or equivalent required
- Knowledge of exercise equipment
- Must be 21 years of age or older
