Pharmacist Generalist-Pt Care Services – PRN/Casual
Position Highlights:
Nebraska Medicine is now taking applications for a talented individual to join us as a Pharmacist Generalist - Pt Care Services. This role will be great for someone that has a passion for pharmacy and great customer service for our patients we serve. This is a unique opportunity as a Pharmacist to have direct patient interactions by administering medications and educating patients in the inpatient setting. This role will also work closely with pharmacy technicians, nurses, providers, and other members of the inpatient healthcare team to provide pharmaceutical services. This specific position will work from the main medical campus in Omaha, NE.

Provide the highest quality patient care. Supervise pharmacy services in assigned patient care area and ensure all medication related patient and care needs are met. Work proactively on behalf of the patient with respect to medication education and compliance. Work cooperatively with team based pharmacists to address the needs of the patient and ensure the provision of optimal pharmaceutical care. Demonstrate a dedication to continual and constant quality improvement.
Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree program OR possess a Bachelor or Master of pharmacy degree with 5 years of experience required.

Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of Nebraska or jurisdiction in which pharmacy practice is conducted required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to provide personalized patient/family education preferred.

Track record of building relationships preferred.
