Job description

We are currently seeking a Pharmacist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of three years professional experience besides an expertise in all aspects of the pharmacy department. The successful candidate will join a group with an atmosphere of professionalism and cooperation in order to better serve patients with various medical conditions. The position requires managing the medications of patients and counseling them on what they can do to enhance their health and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a current knowledge base of pharmacology, pharmaceutical development, and drug information systems.
• Demonstrate interpersonal competence and sensitivity to diverse patient needs and cultural backgrounds.
• Maintain a practice of continuous learning and improvement through participation in professional societies, conferences and study groups.
• Provide patient counseling on pharmaceuticals and related health topics when appropriate.
• Provide customers with recommendations for the most appropriate medications under consideration of costs, side-effects, risks and benefits to the customer.
• Demonstrate manual dexterity in performing pharmacy duties.

Pay: $58.00 - $62.00 per hour
