Responsibilities:
Assists the Retail Pharmacy Administrator with scheduling of all retail pharmacy personnel including vacation, personal, sick, and FML leave. Performs monthly-quarterly corporate controlled substance reconciliation audits and reports findings to Administrator of Retail Services. Performs quarterly regulatory audits of assigned pharmacies and reports finds to Administrator of Retail Services. Works up to 50% of time to handle negative claims reimbursement. Communicates to all pharmacy staff any claims processing information that will be helpful to prevent future negative claims reimbursement. Coordinate annual free return process for each pharmacy. This specialist must have excellent communication skills and provide and maintain a positive team work environment. Specialist will provide training quality assurance, and continuing education to pharmacy technician staff and pharmacy services representative staff to maintain compliance, efficiency, and customer service. Provides EnterpriseRx Level One support to all pharmacy staff.

(Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
(A = basics; B = preferred)

Education

A.

High School diploma or GED from an accredited program

B.

Associates degree or completion of Technician training program

Experience

A.

Minimum 2 years retail pharmacy experience and 2 years as one of the following: coordinator, lead tech, or float tech.

B.

HMO and 3rd party managed care experience

Licenses

A.

TSBP Registration

B.

PTCB Certification

Special Skills

A.

Proficiency in prescription data entry and claims processing.
Proficient in Excel spreadsheet creation and maintenance.
Type 20 WPM.

B.

.Know when to refer questions, problems, and complaints to a pharmacist.

A.
