Position: Pharmacy Tech
Primary Location: San Antonio, TX & Houston, TX
Pay rate: $20/hr.
Contract will start: ASAP
Clinic Hours: M-F 8a-5p
Contract Length: 3-6 Months Contract to hire
Vaccine Requirement: Vaccine required
Responsibilities:
- Pharmacy Tech Process prescription exceptions which may include: resolving claim rejects and member and physician outreach.
- Pharmacy Tech Enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system.
- Pharmacy Tech Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member issues.
- Pharmacy Tech Escalate questions regarding prescription to a Pharmacist for interpretation or provide direction on processing.
Requirements:
- • 2+ years of pharmacy tech experience
- Must have a Texas Pharm tech license
- Must also be nationally certified (PTCB).
