Pharmacy Technician at our gorgeous
Campbell

Some of the responsibilities you may own in this role:
- Receive refill requests from patients via phone or internet; obtain appropriate authorization from doctors to refill; record and create labels for prescriptions in accordance with doctor’s orders, reviewing and ensuring accuracy
- Maintain current, and proactively seek out new knowledge regarding medications
- Ensure the security and proper storage of medications is maintained to include adherence to the Lock Box
- Maintain patient records of medications dispensed
- Fill and dispense prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian
Basic required qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent and minimum of one year prescription dispensing experience
- Working knowledge of Windows-based computer applications; proficiency in the navigation of the internet; Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Detail oriented, organized, self-starter, with ability to multi-task independently, with minimal supervision
- Maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP); We'll help you obtain this!
- Valid California driver’s license, proper vehicle registration, and California’s minimum automobile insurance coverage requirement
Desired Qualifications:
- cPHt Certification
- Completion of a PTCB-Recognized Education/Training Program
