Our business is growing, and we are in search of full-time pharmacy technicians. As a Pharmacy Customer Account Technician, you will have the opportunity to work with and learn from our talented Pharmacists and Technicians in a long term care pharmacy! We are looking for a fun, self-starter who is detail-oriented and ready to make a difference. A Pharmacy Customer Account Technician follows and cares for patients every step of the way.

Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and accurately inputting of prescriptions
  • Manage patient information with their prescription in compliance with the guidelines of the board of pharmacy
  • Perform and comply with all PCAT duties, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to peers, management, and customers.
  • Answering incoming calls and fielding patient questions.
  • Actively communicate both internally and externally with staff, nurses, and doctors for the overall health and needs of our clients.
  • Works through challenges efficiently and objectively
  • Availability to work rotating weekends and on call.

Requirements:
  • Registered with the Board of Pharmacy
  • Knowledge of pharmacy laws
  • Multitasker
  • Knowledge of insurance claims and prior authorizations.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to organize, identify and prioritize daily workload
  • Willing to work in a team environment
