The job: Drive truck over established route to deliver and pick up products, render superior customer service, collect payment adhering to all company work rules and DOT regulations.

Schedule:
Tuesday - Saturday

Our expectations:

  • Must have a valid CDL A or B drivers license, DOT Medical Card, and License in good standing.
  • Must be able to interact cordially and productively with a variety of people.
  • Must establish and maintain an effective working relationship with supervisor, employees, and co-workers.
  • Ability to engage in frequent bending, stooping and stretching.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver products to customer’s place of business in professional manner.
  • Accurately calculate credits, collect proper payment.
  • Unload product and place in designated area in customer’s establishment. Rotate product as according to standards.
  • Provide professional service to customers, resolve complaints within responsibilities and ability. If necessary contact supervisor, manager, sales representative or customer service department.
  • Utilize all equipment supplied by the company to service our customers including delivery handhelds
  • Keep inside cab clean of debris.
  • Properly complete pre and post trip inspections of equipment. Report any safety sensitive situations immediately to supervisor, manager or mechanic.
  • Report any accidents and injuries to supervisor or manager immediately.
  • At times direct the work flow of a delivery helper.
  • Abide by all traffic laws and the use of a seatbelt is required.
  • Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Candidate must possess aptitude to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos, including ability to accurately complete required paperwork, present information to customers, and interact with others.
  • Possess the ability to interact positively with customers and the general public and provide superior service.
  • Capacities to add, subtract, multiply and divide properly.
  • Possess skill to apply an understanding to complete direction given by management or company.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, while in a moving vehicle.
  • Ability to engage in frequent bending, stooping and stretching.
  • Safely handle all product (including kegs and cases) in a variety of delivery areas (steps, ramps, curbs, etc.) daily.
