The Physical Therapist Assistant provides treatment and manual techniques under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. The PTA is expected to manage a full caseload and complete all documentation required for patient care.
Full-Time, Split between White Plains NY and Hawthorne NY facilities
Essential Functions:
- Provides PT interventions that are safe, effective, and in compliance with JAG-ONE guidelines
- Manages and delegates to support staff as needed for patient care
- Completes documentation of notes in WebPT EMR in timely manner as per JAG-ONE guidelines
- Maintains state regulated CEU requirements for PTA license
- Attends annual JAG-ONE Billing/Coding seminar
- Assists with cleanliness and organization of facility
- Educates the surrounding community through lectures/presentations
- Demonstrates respectful intervention with patients, colleagues, and others
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Physical Therapy Assistant Associate degree required
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in appropriate state (NY)
- Excellent oral, written communication
- Maintains positive, professional behavior at all times
