Job description
Powerhouse Pilates is seeking a classically trained Pilates instructor who is certified to teach private as well as semi-private sessions. Some qualifications we are looking for include:
- A fully certified Pilates instructor with current and updated professional liability insurance
- Applicant must have at least 1 year experience teaching in a private studio
- Applicant must have sufficient experience teaching not only on the mat or Reformer but also on the various types of Pilates apparatus. At Powerhouse Pilates, we use Balanced Body but are also open to applicants more familiar with equipment manufactured by Gratz/Pilates Designs/Contrology
- Classical training is highly preferred.
- Availability of at least 2x a week to see 3-5 clients in a day
- The ideal applicant is a professional, punctual, and independent instructor who can confidently take on new clients and can successfully maintain a client base
