ZACHRY is currently seeking an experienced Industrial “Mechanical” Planner/Scheduler for Forest Park Georgia Power.

This is a baseload position that does not offer per diem or any relocation assistance.

Position Responsibilities:

Walk down Outage work scopes

Develop plans for work execution

Communicate with the Scheduler

Build work packages for the field to follow

Strong ability to problem solve

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Able to read and understand drawings

Job Requirement:

Pass drug screen

Pass health screen

Pass criminal background check

Preferred Additional Qualification:

Coal Fired Power Plant experience

Current Zachry or Zachry ROF’d employee

Former experience working with Zachry Group

Maximo experience

Microsoft

Excel

P6

Physical demands

Employee may be required to adhere to climbing, standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting

May be required to lift and carry

Maybe asked to work at heights, climb ladders, and stairways

Vision abilities to focus, see short and long distances, colors, depth perception and peripheral vison

Work environment:

Work in all weather conditions, including winter cold.

Will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks, safety vest, Fire retardant clothing (FRC), gloves and leather work boots.

Pay: $40.00 - $46.00 per hour
