Planning Technician (Customer Service/Data Entry) Collier County Government

The job description is as follows but not limited to:

Must be willing to adapt and cross train in various position within our permits departments.

• Planning Technician Able to assist and provide excellent customer service
• Planning Technician will enter confidential customer information
• Planning Technician will assist with answering calls and inquiries
• Planning Technician will assist the residents, Collier County employees, general contractors and business owners with permit inquiries
• Planning Technician must be able to multi task
• Planning Technician must assist and perform data entry activities
• Planning Technician must be computer savvy in using, entering, updating, and managing customer personal information that involves tedious work and input.
• Planning Technician Must be proficient and use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

This position is a full-time 40 hours per week position.

The scheduled hours are Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm (No Weekends)

Starting pay is $18.24 per hour, paid weekly on Fridays.
