FOOD MANUFACTURING PLANT IN MINSTER OHIO IS SEEKING AN ENGINEERING MANAGER TO LEAD ALL ENGINEERING PROJECTS. THIS PERSON REPORTS INTO THE SENIOR DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING. ALSO WILL HAVE TWO DIRECT REPORTS 2 PROJECT ENGINEERS. NEEDS TO HAVE STRONG CAPITAL PROJECT EXPERIENCE AS WELL WITH CAPEX PROJECTS IS A MUST. SALARY RANGE IS 130K WITH AN 18% BONUS. FULL RELOCATION IS AVAILABLE FOR THIS ROLE AS WELL. MUST COME OUT OF FOODS AND MUST HAVE A BACHELOR'S DEGREE.


The Manager Engineering is responsible to lead the Minster plant's engineering team and support all strategic, operational and policy aspects of the Minster plant in the areas of safety, quality, performance, management, and organizational objectives.


Responsibilities:

Member of the Plant Leadership team
Main point of contact for all Capital Projects for the plant
Coordinate any existing Processing, Packaging, Building and Utilities projects
Build scope of work and preliminary budgets for potential projects
Prepare Capital Masterplan with the leadership team
Responsible for managing Plant’s CAPEX budget
Coordinate and lead multi-functional teams
Create, design and evaluate call for tender documents
Edit and advise on Danone’s Standards
Serve as technical alignment leader during bidding processes
Build capabilities within engineering team
Directly manage a team of project engineers
About You


Education and Experience (Requirements):

Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering, Science or Mathematics from an accredited College or University or equivalent degree / experience
Minimum five (5) to seven (7) years Engineering Project experience required, preferably in CPG beverage/food manufacturing.
Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification(s) a plus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Experience managing capital projects, CAPEX forecasting and payback calculations
Experience with development of Call for Tender documents including, Technical Specifications, Commercial Specifications and Standards
Project Management, MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD
Must be exceptionally organized and self-disciplined to accommodate the management of concurrent multiple projects
Must be highly self-directed and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Understand the essential value of engaging and actively communicating appropriate information to all levels involved with and/or affected by the project
Excellent conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
Knowledge on the following:
Reading, modifying, process flow and process instrumentation drawings
Design, Calculation, Implementation and Start Up of CIP (Clean in Place) Systems.
The design, calculation, and evaluation of Ultra Clean Tanks Manufacturing
Form-Fill-Seal and Preformed packaging equipment from filling to palletizing
Utility/facilities/building and grounds management including Ammonia refrigeration systems
Milk chemistry, milk processing and PMO
Process Instrumentation for Receiving, Storage, Standardization, Homogenization, Pasteurization, Fermentation; and Fermented Products Culture dosing
