Position Title: Plant Maintenance

Report To: Production Manager

Type: Full-Time – Hourly – Non-Exempt

JOB PURPOSE:

We are seeking an experienced Plant Maintenance that will be responsible for keeping a facility operating and assisting with general maintenance within the facility. The ideal candidate for this position will be required to perform a wide range of repair and basic fabrication tasks around a facility.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Performs necessary maintenance tasks including repair or replacement of damaged parts, adjustment and calibration procedures, assemble, install, test and execute maintenance tasks

· Perform equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting equipment problems in an accurate and efficient manner

· Perform all facets of the repair safely while utilizing hand tools, power tools and precision tools at different heights or adverse conditions

· Effectively monitor and inspect equipment for defects

· Plan maintenance schedule with production planning and management as well as work routinely with vendors

· Maintain good general housekeeping, keeping clean equipment and work area. Keep all tools in good working condition

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:

· High School Diploma or GED preferred

· Strong sense of time organization and urgency

· Able to work independently and within a team

· Hands on maintenance, diagnostics, and repair abilities

· Capable of performing a wide range of physical activities which include pulling, reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, and must be able to push, pull, carry move and / or lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
