General Scope of Responsibility:
To provide leadership and direction to all areas of plant operations to ensure that quality products are manufactured in a cost-effective and safe manner.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:
▪ Establish and maintain a safe workplace for all employees. Establish suitability and effectiveness of the EMS. Develop, implement, and monitor a comprehensive safety program that meets applicable safety regulations and corporate goals. Assure all employees are working safely.

▪ Ensure suitability and effectiveness of the QMS and that product quality standards are maintained, and all operations are carried out in a consistent, controlled manner (e.g., as documented in the plant quality system).

Implement SPC on all processes, monitor to control, and take steps necessary to reestablish control when necessary. Assign authority and responsibility for Corrective and Preventive
Actions, capacity analysis, and process design and development.

Set Quality objectives and related training.

Ensure customer confidentiality is maintained.

▪ Maintain satisfactory customer relations, product, and delivery expectations.

▪ Control overall plant resources to meet or exceed corporate profitability expectations.

◦ Review and approve annual plant budget and operate within approved budgetary constraints.

◦ Ensure that proper inventory levels are maintained.

◦ Ensure that all manufacturing processes are cost effective.

▪ Supervises the plant staff and, indirectly, production supervisors.

▪ Develop and effectively implement plant continuous improvement programs and plans.

▪ Provide direction to the Human Resources effort to ensure fair and equal dealings with all employees.

▪ Ensure that plant actions are in conformance with all Company policies.

▪ Take required actions to maintain and safeguard Company assets.

▪ Represent Cadillac Products Automotive Company to the community and to other local industries.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Work Experience, etc.):

Minimum [Must have to be considered for the position]:
▪ Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field.
▪ Minimum of ten years' experience in a manufacturing environment
▪ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
▪ Previous plant management experience or work assignments which had a direct reporting relationship to a

Plant Manager.
▪ Direct supervisory experience.

Desired [Will provide job holder with added skill(s) to perform duties]:

▪ Experience in plastic extrusion and automotive supply base.
▪ Excellent planning skills and ability to effectively implement.
▪ Union shop experience.

HUMAN RELATIONS:

The Plant Manager's position is the cornerstone of a successful operation. This person must be able to communicate effectively with all levels in the plant and at Corporate. The Plant Manager must be sensitive to the needs and concerns of all subordinates. Professionalism, respect, and authority must be exhibited at all times. This person must be firm, yet fair and viewed as a leader at all times.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms. Occasionally the employee will lift and/or move up to 10 – 15 pounds.
Must be able to navigate various departments of the organization’s physical premises. Environmental conditions include noisy environments with occasional varying temperatures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
