Job description

Our client is a well-established consumer products manufacturer in Macon, GA. They are expanding and looking for an Operations Manager.

There is an increase in production lines and workers at the plant.

In addition to overseeing manufacturing, production, and engineering, the Operations Manager will report directly to several Department Managers.

In the future, this person will be able to become the top person in the plant.

• We are looking for a Plant Manager from a smaller plant who wants to manage a larger operation.
• We are seeking candidates with experience in high-speed or consumer products manufacturing.
• It will be difficult for someone without previous experience managing department managers to succeed.

• You must possess a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of operations management experience in consumer products or high-speed manufacturing.
• I am seeking a hands-on leader with experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing people on the plant floor.
• The candidate must have experience with continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma and be able to build teams and change cultures when needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $140,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
