Job description
We are hiring Plant Operators for a leading manufacturer of Concrete Masonry Units in Jeffersonville, IN. Shift: Monday-Friday 8am to 6pm
Pay: $18-$22/hr to start based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Operate concrete block equipment safely to achieve the maximum level of efficiency and productivity
- Must have experience in mechanical and electrical hydraulics
- Operate a sit-down forklift, as necessary
- Encourages efficient utilization of equipment and facilities.
- Assist with Plant Maintenance and Troubleshooting
- Must be safety conscious and a champion for safety
- Positive attitude as it relates to work and team building
- Cross train on running block machine and palletizer
- Monitoring machines and maintaining equipment
- Lifting up to 20 to 30 pounds
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
