Client Overview:

GPportal takes the investor portal to the next level, giving investment managers or their administrators a controlled CRM workflow that facilitates the Investor Portal. With its innovative design, investors can easily navigate the portal in a reliable and secure environment.

Position Description:

We are looking for an engineer with a passion for building secure software platforms, scaling infrastructure, and writing maintainable code. The best candidates will have expertise working with AWS infrastructure and a Node.js development environment. The ideal candidate will have direct experience scaling enterprise B2B SaaS software and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Resolve software vulnerabilities that arise in software and infrastructure
• Monitor third-party telemetry tools to identify, escalate and resolve risks
• Design and implement new infrastructure to position platform for exponential growth
• Build processes to identify and prevent excessive infrastructure utilization and software error rates
• Apply best cybersecurity practices to protect product applications
• Streamline application development by improving CI/CD processes
• Build and execute regular application load testing and stress testing
• Optimize platform performance via code refactoring and installing new infrastructure

Requirements:

• Expert-level experience with AWS infrastructure
• Fluency with Node.js back-end development
• Fluency with cybersecurity best practices
• Deep understanding of relational databases
• Experience with Git version control
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent
• Exemplary attention to detail
• Bonus: Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform)
