Company Description

Exodus Networks is seeking an experienced professional to bolster our technical team and increase our capacity to serve and grow a longstanding customer base. Exodus focuses on IT Consulting and technical services to small & medium businesses within NYC. Technology and work styles have changed rapidly, creating a significant opportunity for skilled IT professionals to demonstrate value to clients by way of improved IT infrastructure. Our long-standing client relationships have made Exodus a nimble and effective operator within the space for some time, and therefore is positioned well to pitch that value creation to them.

This team member will have a high degree of opportunity to shape the company’s growth and create meaningful customer impact. Working directly alongside a team of ownership, know-how managers, and collaborative clients, the candidate who fills this role will have a massively supportive and transparent environment that is motivated to grow the business. A close-knit team, we hope to add a team member who shares both a passion for effective, impactful IT systems and a deep understanding of business impacts on clients.

Job Description

The IT Platform Manager will be tasked with ensuring clients are appropriately supported by their systems from end to end. This includes providing solutions and insights during the sales process, creating strategic plans for implementation, and supporting clients through their customer lifetime. A very hands-on role, the Platform Manager is expected to be self-sufficient. This means the right candidate should be comfortable setting up, managing, and supporting end-to-end business technology systems for customers.

The IT Platform Manager will be expected to wear many hats, sharing responsibilities with a small but close team. This often requires prioritizing well, as the company equips itself to grow a client base and adjust its business model to current trends and best practices. The right candidate will be an avid technology enthusiast with an intimate understanding of computer hardware and networking. The work environment is demanding and dynamic – you will be interfacing with and solving problems for a variety of end-users and team managers, each with their own set of requirements and workflows. A self-starter with a high degree of discipline and a comprehensive understanding of IT implementation will find this challenge a rewarding one. There is much room to both create and experience growth in the company.

Success in the role will be determined by a candidate’s ability to produce results in the form of increased capacity to service customers. This will come in a variety of ways, most importantly through the candidate’s ability to complete end-to-end new client implementation with minimum service disruption in its post-implementation environment. Additionally, as the Administrator reviews current client setups, the owner of this role will have the opportunity to provide feedback and improve current client configurations.
