This exciting opportunity is for a rapidly expanding Medical Devices company who are aiming to better the world with their incredibly successful diabetes product. You will be joining a team that has an incredible projected growth plan. The facility here in San Francisco is looking for an experienced & motivated PLC expert engineer to come on board and help scale up the manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for the automation and electrical infrastructure and systems. You will need to carry out projects within budget and timescale working with other teams in the facility. This position will need to ensure accurate documentation is completed and followed while troubleshooting and continuously maintaining all the equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep control of automation requirements and manage automation projects and programs.
  • Providing input regarding project planning and the required schedules for it to be completed most efficiently.
  • Working with 3rdparty vendors.
  • Completing validation protocols and correct documentation.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and machine failure investigation ensuring product reliability.
  • Ensure that FDA and ISO guidelines are followed accurately.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years experience in manufacturing and automation engineering.
  • Experienced in PLC Programming in RSLogix 5000 and Studio 5000. Rockwell/ Allen Bradley.
  • Experience with safely modifying PLC programs in Studio5000 in a live production environment.
  • Experience in managing an OT Network.
  • Experience with Allen BNadley HMI.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Ignition OR Wonderware OR FTView SE.
  • Extensive electrical knowledge including reading electrical diagrams.
  • Ability to work & lead contractors.
  • Knowledge to program vision systems.
  • Experience with databases.
  • Experience working withing FDA/ISO/cGMP guidelines.

Education:

  • Bachelors in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
