Service Manager (West Fort Worth & Aledo Texas)

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented person that has a diversity of skills in sales, customer service, management, general aquatics, basic water chemistry, water filtration systems, sanitation, pool/spa controls, troubleshooting, & repairs. Position summary:
The Service Manager ensures the service department runs smoothly with few interruptions through mistakes and go backs. Route management, filter clean routing, and customer complaint mitigation will also be a priority. Computer proficiency is vital since much of your time will be spent ensuring the pool routes run in an efficient manner.

Essential duties & responsibilities:

• L.M.A. (Lead, Manage and hold Accountable), service department
• Sales (small parts, service calls, cleaners, etc)
• Manage “Need to Return”
• Complaint mitigation, service department
• Develop processes, service department
• Vehicle Inspections, service department
• Quality control, service department
• New pool inspections
• Training, service department
• POM admin (route management, service report evaluation, app debugging)
• H/R (hiring, terminations, discipline), service department
• Purchasing (bathroom goods, reagents, service tools, etc.), service department
• Filter clean administration
• Billing (small parts, cleaners, etc.)
• Generate new leads for service, repair, and renovation departments
• Customer interaction/customer service
• Attend pertinent training seminars and educational classes (paid)
• Promote positive customer relations
• Maintain a company issued, new model service truck in a clean, organized manner
• Assist other team members when necessary
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times

Education and experience:

• A college degree, electrical, or plumbing license will fetch top pay
• HS diploma required
• Experience in any of the following industries is a huge plus: aquatic, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, irrigation, controls, troubleshooting
• Any candidate that is mechanically inclined is urged to apply
• Bilingual is a huge plus

Requirements:

• Willing to undergo and pass a criminal background check
• Possess a basic set of hand tools, sockets, and cordless saws/drills

Licenses & certifications:

• Clean drivers license with no moving violations in the last 3 years
• CPO (Certified Pool Operator) Preferred to already have a CPO license, but it can be obtained after employment.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday
• 7-9 hour daily shift

Benefits:

• Salary pay up to $85,000
• Commission based sales bonus. 2.5% of total sales after goals are met

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
