About this Position
As a Portfolio Manager, you will manage, trade and monitor investment portfolios for high net worth clients designed to achieve specific investor goals consistent with the firm's investment philosophy and strategies. You will develop customized investment programs to meet client objectives. The Portfolio Manager will perform a high level of client service and participate in new business development opportunities.
Major Duties
Manage investment activities of portfolios for high net worth individuals, families and personal trusts.
Develop customized investment strategies and construct portfolios to meet client objectives consistent with the firm's investment strategy.
Meet with clients on a regular basis and report on portfolio progress and present recommendations as appropriate.
Provide regular updates to clients on economic and market conditions consistent with the firm's investment outlook.
Maintain a high client service level by working closely with Relationship Managers/Trust Officers as a team to meet client needs.
Support and serve on standing investment committees responsible for investment strategy as appropriate.
Direct participation in the development of new investment business with business development and administrative officers.
Requirements:Minimum of 4+ years of experience in wealth or investment management working with high net worth clients, with 5-7 + years of total experience in financial services.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration preferred.
CFA or CFP designation, or progress toward, preferred but not required.
