We have an immediate opening for a paint pre-treatment foreman. We are looking for a very talented and energetic professional to join our Team!
Reports to: Paint Foreman and Plant Manager
Overview of the Required job:
- Safety
- Schedule and Planning
- Quality Control
- Loading and Unloading Pre-treat baskets
- Operating Forklift and Overhead Crane
- Checking and completing paperwork
- Leadership of OSHA/IOSHA and IDEM compliance
- Training
- Work with all groups within the company
Responsible for:
Safety
- Work areas clean and organized
- Aisle Clear, no trip hazards
- Area is kept clean and presentable to customers visits
- Making sure all employees have their PPE on, safety shoes, glasses, gloves
Follow schedule that is put out and communicate any issues with other department heads.
Loading Baskets and unloading baskets, movement of materials by hand, forklift or overhead crane
Quality Control at each step of the painting process; visually identify defects in material and communicate to supervisor.
Works with Pre-Treat, rackers, painters, unrackers, office and other managers.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
Minimum of 2 year experience in management within a manufacturing environment or 5 years experience working in Metal Industry and/or order fulfillment
Prior experience meeting quality standards.
Detail orientated with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
