Our Preconstruction Manager is primarily responsible for the following:

• Manage the Preconstruction Department
• Perform accurate and detailed line item material takeoffs from civil, architectural, and structural drawings using computerized estimating and digitizing software
• Capable of estimating and purchasing for multiple projects concurrently
• Prequalify all subcontractors and supplies
• Negotiate and maintain all national supplier agreements
• Led by the Director Construction Services
• Perform all the above and all other duties as assigned in accordance with applicable laws and company policies

Don’t sell yourself short. Our Preconstruction Manager must have the following qualifications:

• Associate's degree required, Bachelors degree in Construction Technology preferred
• Must be willing to travel if necessary
• Minimum of 10 years project management or estimating and purchasing experience on projects in excess of $15 million
• Multifamily construction experience preferred
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational, and mathematical skills
• Proficient knowledge with Microsoft Windows environment, and working knowledge with spreadsheets
  
• Experience with estimating softwares like PlanSwift or On-Screen
• Experience with Procore is a plus
