What will you do?
- The timely preparation and exhibition assembly of fresh quality hot and cold product
- Assists in the preparation of meals by chopping vegetables, making salads and putting together entrees
- Must have the ability to utilize a wide range of kitchen tools and utensils
- Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, assisting chefs and cools and following detailed recipe specifications while adhering to NYC Department of Health guidelines
- Ensures that food is stored properly
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:
Must be available to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, holidays and weekends.

What do you need to succeed?
- The ideal candidate will have prior cashier or food prep experience.
- Good communication skills
- A commitment to high-quality customer service and be able to handle the high-pressure environment.
- General knowledge of the NYC Department of Health’s rules and regulations
- Bilingual a plus.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
