Job description

Major responsibilities include:

  • Assure that all food procedures are followed
  • Follow all sanitation guidelines
  • Become familiar with new menu items/dishes
  • Per-weigh, measure, and package foods according to recipe specifications for later use by line cooks
  • Sanitized prep area and line trash cans
  • Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience required
  • Experience with quantity food preparation preferred
  • Demonstrate cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes
  • Knowledge of proper nutritional requirements
  • Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task
  • Ability to work together with a team in a positive manner to achieve a common goal; understand the importance of teamwork with both other bussersand the rest of the staff.

Physical Requirements;

  • Stand, Walk, Use Hands/ Fingers, Reach Outward, Lift/Carry, Push/Pull 10-25lbs - Constantly
  • Reach Above Shoulder, Bend, Lift/Carry, Push/ Pull 26-50lbs - Frequently
  • Climb, Squat or Kneel - Occasionally
