We are looking for a PreService Specialist to join our team in Boise, ID (located at 8757 W. Emerald Street).

As a Pre-Service Specialist in Boise, you will be responsible for obtaining and/or verifying demographic, clinical, financial and insurance information in the process of scheduling patients for services. They will also be responsible for conducting insurance eligibility/benefit verification, pre-certification/authorization, and referral clearance for patients. Providing exceptional phone-based customer service is essential in this position.

Our ideal candidate has the ability to problem solve quickly in a busy environment while working independently. Utilizing excellent verbal and written communication skills while interacting with internal and external customers is critical . They will also need to be comfortable accessing and navigating payer websites and utilizing other computer systems.

General Requirements:

• Basic understanding of the core Microsoft Suite offerings
• Data entry skills (50-60 keystrokes per minute)

Education:

• High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Past work experience of at least 2 years within a healthcare provider or payer environment performing patient access and/or customer service activities
• Prior experience working with medical insurances and navigating payer websites
