We have an exciting opportunity as a Prevention Specialist for the Reynolds School District in Fairview Oregon ( Portland Metro)
About the Opportunity:
- The Prevention Specialist provides mental health supports within a therapeutic classroom, provides mental health and behavioral risk screenings, one-on-one mental health check-ins, engagement in therapeutic group counseling and referral for other mental health services. Works in collaboration with classroom teacher and stills trainer.

- Wages: Unlicensed: $58,000 - $70,180 & Licensed: $62,640 - $75,794

About You:
- You are mission sensed, seeking meaningful work and career growth
- You are looking to work with a Collaborative Multidisciplinary team.
- Education: Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or other field which qualifies the candidate to be a licensed professional counselor/clinical social worker/ psychologist or marriage & family therapist in the State of Oregon. Must be able to Qualify for QMHP.
- 2+ years in an outpatient mental health treatment facility, or hospital, residential or day treatment settings providing counseling services to children, adolescents, and families. You will also supervise, one direct report
- Plus: if you have Trauma informed Mental health screening experience
- Tech Skills: Microsoft Office and Data Entry
- Have good written and verbal communications
- Great at time management, attention to detail and planning.
