Career Opportunity:

Silgan Dispensing Systems is searching for a Pricing Analyst to develop the financial models and track impact of material costs across our global footprint. We are looking for a proactive person who will play a key role in shaping a best-in-class financial planning and analysis function into the future. The position will be based at our Grandview, MO facility.

How you will impact Silgan Dispensing Systems:

· Develop and maintain financial models to track impact of material cost fluctuations on revenue

· Create new tools to provide data and insights into company performances as it relates to revenue

· Perform ad hoc analysis and financial modeling to support business decisions

· Perform financial consolidations for forecast and budget scenarios

· Execute blank page projects: Develop reports, analyses/processes without existing templates

· Develop understanding of key pricing levers and identify major risks and opportunities which could impact financial results

· Establish new systems, processes, and reporting to streamline pricing function

· Keep pricing tables up to date and audit the execution of price changes/moves

What you need to succeed:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or Economics

· Ability to work with financial data in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

· Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and related financial systems; Experience with JD Edwards or ESSBASE experience a plus

· Attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and decision-making skills

· Strong interpersonal skills with global perspective.  This person will interact with colleagues across numerous functions and levels of personnel

· This is a highly involved role and requires clear, concise communication for success

· Effective communication and positive interaction amongst an array of personalities is essential
